For the 2023 Great Cover Song Challenge, Kevin Kvein assigned the song "Alias" by Savoir Faire to me to cover. The original is a very intense number (lyrically about the topic of secrecy and the consequences of discovering what has been hidden), lots of flavor and just a really, really great song with stellar vocals by Sarah Meliheh and I wanted (as a performance poet) to take this wonderful song and make it a bit colder and stranger, make it something that I would have dreamed. And so I did, as best I could.

And a very big thank you to Sarah Meliheh of Savoir Faire for providing me with her lyrics and music to work from for this project.
